Working for a non for profit organization, long term temporary assignment.
Provide crisis intervention to individuals and families facing a housing crisis, and who are most at risk o s entry or re-entry. Address emergencies related to housing, food, medical needs, spouse abuse, and any concrete need as presented by client.
Conduct assessments of individual and family problems and follow-up with brief services, or with referrals to Catholic Charities programs and/or clinics or an outside facility as deemed appropriate.
Develop and maintain good communication with other programs and departments within the organization to facilitate inter-agency referrals.
Assist clients in applying for and receiving public and private benefits.
Maintain current and accurate documentation of services provided to clients.
Complete statistical reports.
Assist with food distribution at food pantry and related administrative duties.
