Temporary Recruiter – High-Volume Hiring Support
Location: New York, NY (hybrid / site visits as needed)
Engagement Type: Temporary, full-time
Anticipated Duration: 3–6 months (subject to hiring volume)
Assignment Overview
We are seeking an experienced Temporary Recruiter to provide hands-on recruiting support for a high-volume hiring initiative program (approximately 30 active vacancies). The role is focused on accelerating hiring throughput, strengthening candidate pipelines, and reducing overall vacancy volume.
This is a supporting and execution-heavy role, working in close partnership with an existing Program Recruiter and under the direction of senior HR leadership.
Key Working Relationships
• Program Recruiter (primary day-to-day partner)
• Recruiting Director
• Senior HR Leaders, including the Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO)
• Hiring managers across program and operational teams
Core Responsibilities
• Support high-volume recruiting efforts with a primary focus on open roles
• Source, screen, and organize candidates across multiple job families
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records and recruitment activity in the ATS
• Assist with scheduling interviews and managing candidate flow through the hiring process
• Track and organize recruitment data, ensuring attention to detail at every stage
• Collaborate closely with the Program Recruiter to prioritize requisitions and manage workload
• Communicate clearly and professionally with hiring managers and HR leadership as needed
• Support additional HR-related recruiting needs if capacity allows
Required Experience & Skills
• Prior recruiting experience required; high-volume recruiting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of candidates with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to source, collect, track, and manage recruitment data efficiently
• Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) required
• Jobvite experience a plus
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to operate as a collaborative team member in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
