We are seeking a Customer Account Manager to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison for assigned customer accounts, managing all shipping and logistics needs.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Monitor shipments in real time using our TMS (Transportation Management System) and proactively communicate updates to clients.
- Negotiate rates and service terms with carriers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Resolve any service issues quickly and effectively, maintaining strong client trust.
- Collaborate with internal operations, customs, and billing teams to ensure smooth end-to-end service..
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with logistics software/TMS platforms (e.g., CargoWise, SAP TM, or similar)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical skills to interpret shipping data and recommend improvements.
