Customer Account Manager -White Plains, NY

We are seeking a Customer Account Manager to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison for assigned customer accounts, managing all shipping and logistics needs.
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Monitor shipments in real time using our TMS (Transportation Management System) and proactively communicate updates to clients.
  • Negotiate rates and service terms with carriers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
  •  Analyze shipping data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Resolve any service issues quickly and effectively, maintaining strong client trust.
  • Collaborate with internal operations, customs, and billing teams to ensure smooth end-to-end service..
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with logistics software/TMS platforms (e.g., CargoWise, SAP TM, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical skills to interpret shipping data and recommend improvements.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
